With a waft of angel’s breath
He blew my
anxious, dreading thoughts away.
He swept
aside my restless wrath,
And left
for me a minty newness.
But then
he said,
“Now you!”
I try I try.
Now I
think of waterfalls,
Tree-line
paths, songbird calls,
Clouds
across a moody, moving sky,
And airs
from Mozart fill my mind
When he comes
and sits with me.
-Still he
comes-
Beneath my
wide and roomy terrace tree,
Among the
orchids, lilies glowing red,
And his
cereus blooming in the night,
I feel and
see his face as once it was,
So open,
so beautiful, and kind.
