Irán y la anti-ciencia / Iran and anti-science

Publico esto en Español y Inglés.
This is in both Spanish and English.

English:

Those who criticize the Iran agreement are probably descendents of those that agreed with Colin Powell’s presentation at the United Nations when he defended the invasion years ago. He said that the installations for producing biological warfare were not fixed in one place. They were, he said, installed in trucks that could move around and avoid detection.

I thought at the time, how can they do delicate and aseptic work in a truck that bumps around on dusty desert roads?

It’s the same now. The critics say that the delays projected for the IAEA’s arrival for investigating military installations in the country weaken the agreement. It is their opinion that the Iranians can hide their research in the meantime. They say this even though the work requires massive machines that require complex systems to assure the purity of their product.

These are the people who think science and technology are magic.
